Teacher Tone paired me up with Nobuki Takamen.Nobuki really helped me with bard chords and power chords, which I had been struggling with for a long time. He had great tips on alternate fingering for smoother transitions. As Sonia mentioned, Nobuki is extremely patient and encouraging. I highly recommend him and Teacher Tone to anyone learning guitar.

Teachers who are friendly
I have training in Voice and Piano before, but decided to challenge myself with other instruments: Guitar (Steven) and Piano/Jazz (Adam). Both teachers are knowledgeable and impressively talented. Watching them play a song, encouraged me to practice. Their presence are not the usual "creepy" teachers. They teach by your side not only as your teachers but as a good friend. I felt very comfortable as a student. Waiting for the next lesson is always exciting.
Learned a ton
I took guitar lessons with Steven for over 2 years and had a lot of fun and learned more than I ever thought I would. I then got the urge to play piano so started piano lessons 3 months ago and the guys at Teacher Tone hooked me up with another great teacher.
